THE IMPORTANCE OF                                 WORDS AND                                    COMMUNICATION

Are you asking the right questions?

The degree to which a caregiver provides informative feedback and asks inquisitive question has a significant impact on children's learning, engagement, and motivation.  High quality communication skills also increase frequency of back-and-forth exchanges between caregivers and children.  By the end of this session, participants will be able to identify and demonstrate effective strategies in optimizing quality interactions with their preschoolers.
